Rey Lear

Rey lives in Brackley and is a primary school music specialist in South Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire. He was the director of Brackley Music School for thirteen years and as such is well known to many in the town.

These days, Rey plays electric bass guitar in quite a few bands, ranging in style from big band jazz to a folk group called Scarecrow which performs at many folk clubs and festivals around the country.

Rey Lear

Rey took a diploma in classical guitar at the Royal Academy of Music in 1989 but now mainly uses his guitar to accompany children's singing. He is, however, adept at playing in many guitar styles and is equally at home on the bass guitar, the classical and the steel-string guitar. He also taught folk guitar for many years for the Adult Education Service.
